1. Why this notice exists
Ubuhanzi sets cookies to keep you signed in and uses PostHog to understand how the platform is used. This notice says which is which.
2. Strictly necessary

Without these the portal cannot work, so they are not optional.
3. Analytics
PostHog records which pages are used and which errors occur. Accounts are identified by an opaque internal id, never by name, email or phone number.
OPEN QUESTION — whether analytics requires opt-in consent under Law No. 058/2021 as applied to Ubuhanzi, or whether a notice such as this suffices.
4. Artist websites
Public artist websites served on Ubuhanzi subdomains are covered by this same notice. Artists cannot add their own tracking scripts.
